Chest was always the dominant part of Arnold’s Body, his massive broad and thick chest has always been in conversations and still people talk about his massive pecs. When I first saw a pic of his side posed pecs and literally thought they are not natural it looks like they have been inflated by air, but we all know that is not true.

After careful and thorough search, I am sharing with you Arnold Schwarzenegger Chest Workout, Arnold’s most loved exercises that he performed to have that enormous chest.

Bench Press (Wide Grip)

In videos and pictures you can clearly see he is doing Bench Press with wide grip, so if you are following this program then I must recommend you to do the same. Perform 4 sets of 10,10,10,8 reps with full range of motion.

Incline Bench Press (Wide Grip)

Best exercise for developing upper chest, perform 4 sets of 8,10,10,10 reps with full range of motion.

Flat Bench Dumbbell Fly

In an interview Arnold said that this exercise he found has the most impact on his chest, this exercise has helped him achieve that wide chest. Perform 5 sets of 12,12,12,12,12 reps with full range and complete control, use only that weight which you can easily lift.

Weighted Dips

An excellent Exercise for complete pectoral development, it targets your upper, middle and specially your lower chest. Perform 5 sets of 10,10,10,10,10 reps.

Cable Crossover

Arnold’s second last chest finisher exercise for the development of inner pecs, perform 4 sets of 12,12,12,12 reps.

Dumbbell Pullover

Arnold’s last chest finisher to expand the ribcage and to lift the chest. Perform 3 sets of 10,10,10 reps.

Conclusion:

By seeing above exercises you can analyze that Arnold Schwarzenegger always used simple and basic exercises to build his massive chest. Sometimes switching back to basics is really a good idea, because these exercises have no hard and fast rules, they are direct and efficient. This was our first part of Arnold’s Workout Routine, more is coming soon.
